We’re now in the second quarter of the year. I'm going to ask a question I hate because people often don't share the truth when it's asked. But in the context of health it is important to ask. How are you really doing? You may feel like you’re on track… or like things haven’t quite gone to plan.
But how we feel can sometimes mislead us. The body often gives quiet signals that tell a more honest story—and more importantly, show us what to adjust.
🟪 Quick Health Score Check
One way of finding out is to determine your health score. What is your health score right now? Click here and find out.
Now check in with these signs.
For each one, here’s one powerful adjustment that can make a real difference:
🔹 Tired often👉 Adjustment: Start your day with a protein-based breakfast (not just carbs). This helps stabilise energy instead of causing mid-morning crashes.
🔹 Difficulty sleeping👉 Adjustment: Set a consistent wind-down time (even 20 mins) with no screens before bed. This signals your body to switch off.
🔹 Low mood / feeling down👉 Adjustment: Get natural daylight early in the day (even 10 mins). This supports mood-regulating hormones.
🔹 Hormonal symptoms👉 Adjustment: Balance your meals (protein + fibre + healthy fats + gut health foods). This helps regulate blood sugar, which impacts hormones.
🔹 Poor memory or concentration👉 Adjustment: Reduce constant snacking/sugar grazing—it disrupts focus. Aim for structured meals instead.
🔹 Very dry skin👉 Adjustment: Increase water intake consistently across the day (not all at once). Hydration supports skin from within.
🔹 Feeling anxious or stressed often👉 Adjustment: Build in a daily pause (5–10 mins) with no stimulation. This helps calm your nervous system.
🔹 Indigestion or bloating after food👉 Adjustment: Slow down when eating—chew properly and avoid rushing meals. Digestion starts in the mouth.
🔹 Constipation👉 Adjustment: Add a daily fibre source (e.g. vegetables, seeds) and keep it consistent.
🟪 What This Means for You
You don’t need to fix everything at once. One small, intentional adjustment can begin to shift things in a powerful way.
Your body is always communicating—you just need to listen and respond.
